Nowadays all brands have to face the challenge of selling their products to stores, grow their business on the Canadian market and above all succeeding by signing contracts with Zumiez, Macy’s and Nordstrom. The fashion industry is a difficult one. In 2017, more than 5,000 start up were created in the fashion industry! But competition is rough for brands and the market shares are slimmer as offer is higher than demand.
Bearing this in mind, JACKALOPE has at heart to promote brands and not just offer divers Pop up shops or design collaboration collection. Our festival has decided to take an active part by acting as a representative and invite brands to a “tradeshow” in Vancouver. The aim was simple offer an opportunity to the selected brands to sell to retailers. ISN’T THAT BOMB?
WHAT IS EL KNOWSHOW?
The KNOWSHOW is a business to business platform where fashion brands can reveal their seasonal collection to the Canadian retailers. JACKALOPE was there with 7 Canadian brands to help them sell and grow, which couldn’t make us prouder.
LET US PRESENT THEM TO YOU
Organized as an artistic collective, Le Cartel aims to promote the artistic work of each of their team members. In other words, when you buy a Le Carte piece, you buy a unique piece of art!
Headster Kids is specialized in producing caps for kids. They offer a very large collection of colorful designs, perfect for every occasion so your child can go out in style!
Meemoza values ethical work in order to promote eco-friendly and natural quality materials. They have sustainable clothing which have a feminine and playful design.
Mohawki designs high quality silver jewelry in a CHIC and EDGY style. Inspired by architectural lines, their creations are made of contrasts surrounding us.
Deux Cosmétiques is a company of artisanal cosmetics. They use two main ingredients that have specific properties. Each product is made for specific skin needs and answers to them with unique benefit.
Uashmama is made from natural fiber from tree cultivation. It gives a look and feel similar to leather while actually being washable paper. Their collection offers a wide range of accessories and bags.

In August 2017, HEADSTER KIDS, launch their first partnership with JACKALOPE. Their kids caps were sold out faster than it takes time master tongue ”twister Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers”! Delighted by this successful partnership, the brand participated for the first time to our POP UP SHOP activation. High on success, HEADSTER KIDS decided to jump in the adventure of the KNOWSHOW because they believed in the potential of the project. Long story short, during our stay HEADSTER KIDS met and signed a contract with one of the largest streetwear agency of the west of Canada, known for working with many renowned brands !!!
An event that will change the brand’s story for ever #proudnest. We are very proud to say that JACKALOPE is much more than a festival, it also gives an opportunity to a wide range of designers to write their own success story. We believe in supporting brands as they all have a story that should be heard and we do it gladly with our hands over our hearts.
